Celebrate our history, guarantee our future
Donate now:
Since 1948, the BrSO has provided exceptional live musical performances at affordable prices right in your community. To continue our mission, we need your support!
Every little bit counts. Please donate today! Even the smallest donation
lets us know that you believe in our mission and want to be a part of helping us do bigger and better things in our 70th season and beyond!
Progress toward our $60,000 goal!
Your donations are more necessary than ever due to cutbacks in public funding for the arts.
$300 will put a Classical symphony on our music stands.
$750 sponsors a seat in the orchestra for the season.
$1500 brings a top-notch solist to appear with the orchestra.
$3500 allows us to perform one of our symphonic concerts in a concert auditorium!

Starting in October, we're presenting the Taste of the Symphony Tour. This will bring small groups of BrSO musicians
into local councils on aging, and independent senior communities to bring our passion and our
music to folks who otherwise might not be able to attend one of our concerts.
- As of November 15th, we've already visited Avon, Abington, and Norton. Between now and the end of January we'll also visit
Canton, West Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, and Stoughton.
-
To bring more great music to a wider audience, we're working with local groups to provide financial assistance
to get more individuals to our concerts who otherwise cannot afford to attend.
- We're also now offering free tickets to all patrons 18 years old and younger to nurture the love of orchestral music in the next generation.
-
You spoke: we answered. We had overwhelming feedback in past seasons that you love to hear big symphonies.
So this season we're be bringing in additional musicians to perform some of our favorites, including Tchaikowsky's Fifth Symphony and Wagner's Overture to the Flying Dutchman.
- To celebrate Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday, our season culminates with a tribute concert featuring a medley from West Side Story
and On the Waterfront Suite! These large works cost more to perform, and we've programmed several for you this season.
-
Each December for our beloved Holiday Pops concert, the BrSO and assistant Conductor Dr. Emilian Badea
invite students from a local school to perform, giving them the truly memorable experience of performing with a full symphonic orchestral backup!
- Last season we partnered with the Rotary Club of Brockton and the Brockton School District to offer a
Children's Concert to celebrate the 50th Anniversary
of the Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. With your support, we'd like to continue partnering with local schools and organizations to offer more children's programming
in the future!
- Each year, the Symphony partners with a sponsor to offer our Youth Concerto Competition.
Young musicians from the greater Boston area prepare and present an audition piece, and the winner receives an award, and may
perform a piece with the symphony the following season.
But all these exciting endeavors cannot happen without
your help. Please make a tax-deductible donation to the
Symphony today!
